Warrior King, an epic animated feature produced in China, tells the story of the origin of King Gesar. Gesar is a mythical figure from Tibet, featured in an epic story that lasts for decades. Warrior King will be released in U.S. theaters on August 25th.
Stephen Weese of Marvelous Spiral Studios directed and cast the English voice over for the film. Stephen has worked in voiceover and animation for over 15 years, getting his start in the anime Hellsing Ultimate. He co-produced the English dub for Production I.G.’s Kick-Heart. He has also worked on several video games as a director and actor for SEGA, Capcom, Cygames, and NCSoft.
Marvelous Spiral Studios (MSS) was established in North Carolina three years ago when Stephen, the CEO, left Los Angeles for Asheville. MSS provides quality low-cost voice over services for video games and animation. The company has access to local talent but also named talent from Los Angeles and other areas if needed.
